Knowledge Article Content Widget

hi I noticed in my PDI that the knowledge article content shows the "revised by" for some roles and "authored by" for other roles.  In my companys instance it always shows the "revised by" and I believe that we have an OOTB instance of the widget.  Is there any setting that drives this?  We would prefer to show the "authored by" in our widget

Hello @alipia123

Greetings!

I beleive you have to clone the OOB widget by changing that part of code.

refer the below threads where similar requirements discussed:

Thankyou Ravi I have seen that is possible to clone the widget and actually in part of our system we do have a cloned widget that does always show the "authored" by.  My question was why in my PDI do I see different behaviour in showing the authored / revised by when different roles are accessing it?  as I thought the PDI would have an OOTB widget?

Hello @alipia123

I believe there are no rule restriction in the widget.

if the article is revised since publishing, then it will show revised by.

if it is not revised at all, it will show authored by.
