Hello, all!
I'm new to the group so please don't flame me if the structure of my ask is untraditional.
Please confirm if snow's KB feature allows for videos/gifs to be added when creating a KB.

First of all, Welcome!!!!
Secondly, you can be sure that the whole ServiceNow community is very respectful and you will get help for any kind of question that may sound trivial. We all started somehow and nobody knows everything so it is no problem at all!
To your question, in the KB Articles, there is HTML field so you can add anything - pictures, gifs, links to (embedded) videos, tables, text formatting, pretty much anything...
Let me know if you have any particular question. If you want to play around, register at: https://developer.servicenow.com/dev.do (for free) where you can get your own instance (PDI > Personal Developer Instance) and you can do whatever you want to try in order to test or learn. If you will not log into that for 10 days it will be automatically deleted, so you don't need to worry about creating dummy data in your client's instance

I just added a video I created in Vidcast to a KBA. It worked just fine and looks great.
