it depends on when you are doing that.
Ideally it should be in non-business hours to reduce the impact performance.

The answer is Yes or No.
Yes: If you are working with large tables or core/base tables that are heavily used and contain multiple reference fields, along with factors like the type of operation, peak hours, etc.
No: If there are fewer fields, no references, and minimal dependencies.
