Query about Catalog Builder

I notice that when using CB to create a catalog item, it automatically creates a default update when you submit it. Then if you edit the catalog item and submit it again, it will create another update set.

If I am going to transfer the update set to another instance, should I transfer all the update sets?

@Merza Lyn

there are challenges while using catalog builder when it comes to update set

Approach

pick the latest one and deploy -> this should work ideally

OR

See by moving all the update sets in case to be on safer side

Hi @Merza Lyn

Yes, you should move all the update sets or you might lose some configurations.

Hello @Merza Lyn ,

Yes you can move update set but some related configuration like flow,variable set which are not present in your target instance that may cause error . So please ensure that related flow,catalog,category , variable set etc must present in target instance .
