Record producer translation issue

Hello everyone

 

I have the following issue with the translation of record producers (for example "Create Incident":
If I adjust the short description or the description in English, the adjustments are immediately visible to the user in the portal after a browser refresh with F5 (I have two sessions in two browsers, one as admin and one as user).

Now I change the language of the admin to German and also the language of the user in the portal.
If I now make an adjustment to the short description or the description, this is not displayed for the user in the portal. Only a customization of the name of the record producer (open incident) is displayed immediately.

 

Adjustments to the remaining fields are also not adopted.

 

I've tried cache.do and also deleted the browser cache for the user but the translations are not working. We have 3 languages in addition to English and it's the same everywhere.

 

Any ideas or suggestions as to what else can be done or what the problem is?

What do you mean by

adjust the short description or the description

Update the values in the (incident) form?

Update the values in the Catalog before submitting the record producer?

Updating the labels of those fields?

Updating the labels of those variables/question?

I change the "Short Description" or the "Description" directly in the Record Producer an here is an example.

Make some changes in the description and the short description:

Change the text in the short description an the descriptionChange the text in the short description an the description

 

Refresh the Service Portal Page with the user in the browser:

Now change the language as admin to german and here the values in the record producer:

So this is the issue and where to change this values in our translated languages or what to do, that the new text ist visible?

If you look into table sys_translated_text do you see records for

- Document = Record Producer: Create Incident,

- Table Name =  sc_cat_item_producer and

- Field Name = description

and Language is on one row English and on another row German?

And, of course, with the expected texts/html in field Value.

Yes, the record for german is in the table sys_translated_text and also shows, that it was updated yesterday by my Admin-User.
In the value field i also see my new text.

But in the Service Portal, there's still the old text visible for the cutomer (also for the Admin-User if i change to this language).
