Record producer translation issue

Hello everyone

I have the following issue with the translation of record producers (for example "Create Incident":
If I adjust the short description or the description in English, the adjustments are immediately visible to the user in the portal after a browser refresh with F5 (I have two sessions in two browsers, one as admin and one as user).

Now I change the language of the admin to German and also the language of the user in the portal.
If I now make an adjustment to the short description or the description, this is not displayed for the user in the portal. Only a customization of the name of the record producer (open incident) is displayed immediately.

Adjustments to the remaining fields are also not adopted.

I've tried cache.do and also deleted the browser cache for the user but the translations are not working. We have 3 languages in addition to English and it's the same everywhere.

Any ideas or suggestions as to what else can be done or what the problem is?

Thanks for support and regards
Alex

Not sure how familiar you are with working with widgets in Portal, but you can check a few things:
- does the sys_id of the record producer match the sys_id in the URL when the "Create Incident" Record Producer is opened in Portal

- if you right-click on the HTML text that is supposed to be translated, while holding down Ctrl. and select the "Log to console: $scope.date" menu item, you will get a log in the browsers console. There you would need to drill-down the logged object Object -> catalogItem -> data -> sc_cat_item. It will have a property named "description" which should contain the translated text. Does it?

Thanks for your hints.

The sys_id is the same in the record producer and in the URL when creating a Incident.

Tried to reproduce your steps in the browser (Firefix, Chrome and Edge) but can't find the console (nothing happen if i click on "Log to console...".

I spoke to our integration partner and they have always done the translations this way. Could be a bug in the Vancouver release and make a case with ServiceNow.

Thanks for your help and support

HI @Alex Kraemer ,
I trust you are doing great.
I think for message translation internationalisation plugin is best to use.
Please find the video for the same.
