Resubmitting Approvals using Flow

Hello All,

I have a requirement to allow users to resubmit an approval after it has been rejected using Flow. I am currently running in to issues trying to map out a design that will allow me to do this using Flow as it seems like there is no way to loop back to a previous State/Approval value without running in to issues? Has anyone accomplished this before? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Hi Mate,

Not sure what is business need to keep waiting for re-approval. Best practice say, if approval Rejected, approval must trigger again. Hope this will help you.

Hi @Gilberto3 ,

Why do you want to reuse the rejected approval, we can't we re trigger the same approval again???

Thank you,

Hi @Gilberto3

Greetings!!

My first point, it is not valid case after rejection you need to resubmit the approval. As per process it must retrigger approval to all.

Right, if the approval is rejected I would like to keep flow going and give them a certain number of days to resubmit approval. To your point, it would be ideal to leave the rejected approval as rejected and trigger a new approval.
