ServiceNow System Administrator

I'm starting my ServiceNow System Administrator journey and looking for some advice. I have a background in IT systems administration and cloud infrastructure, but I'm new to ServiceNow.

What beginner-friendly resources would you recommend to get hands-on with the platform? Are there any good practice tests or study materials for the CSA exam?

Also, any tips or lessons learned from your experience would be greatly appreciated — especially things you wish you knew before getting started.

Thanks in advance!

Hi @SanRoss

Being a ServiceNow trainer, I'm happy to share my thoughts. ServiceNow offers a dedicated career and learning journey for professionals.

When I say "journey," I mean there are various sets of courses that you can complete to become certified. One way is to follow the structured learning paths and earn certifications as you progress.

Another option is to pick a specific course—like the CSA (Certified System Administrator)—complete the training, and then take the exam to get certified. Both approaches are valid and can help you grow in your ServiceNow career.
