Unable to add members to a group

I am unable to add members to a group I created. I add them under the Edit Members page and click Save. It then redirects me back to the Group page and I see the name of the user I added for a split second, but then it disappears altogether. I don't receive an error message or anything. 

I currently have the admin and the security_admin role.

Does the group contain the security_admin role? If so, you'll need to elevate your access first before adding them.

Yes, it does. 

I just elevated my role and it worked! Thank you, Mike.
