Updating Table backend name

I'm trying to update the backend name of the table of a scoped application via xml, it is getting updated but the label also gets updated showing 'label' only.

Is there any other way to updated the table backend name?

I had an update set for a table, that was missing the Collection record. I exported one from another table, updated 3 fields using my text editor, then imported that and my table was then correct. ArpitB can do that as long as care is taken. Or a Support Case can be created to repair the table.
