Visual Task Boards and workflow tasks

Hi there,

 

Our team is currently manually creating a Jira board for tasks for Service Transition projects. These correlate to ServiceNow workflow tasks for a Service Transition Record (STR). It seems silly to duplicate this in a separate system due to risk of error and it's time consuming to update both systems. I'm trying use a data driven Visual Task Boards instead. However, as there is a workflow behind the STR, tasks that haven't been triggered because their prerequisites haven't been met don't exist yet (from what I understand) so VTB doesn't give a full representation of the work to be done.  

Is there a way around this or another way to do it?

I don't think there is any another way, bcz you are using the data driven board which means, until all conditions met the data will not move. and I am sure free flow board also not work and risky as well.
