Which is the most relevant for System Admin release notes ?

The platform ones and then the ones related to the modules that you are supporting. 

As system admin you probably have to check on all (plugin) deprecations and make sure the system keeps running for all modules. 

Depending on your organization, you may even need to know the functional changes to the different modules, when users come to you with their issues of something not working like it did before.
