Hi all! We are starting our Now Assist journey this Q1 and I'm curious to learn how others who had started their Now Assist journey / done Now Assist what were their takeaways, lessons learned, pitfalls that I could gain insights from? Happy to chat!

Thanks!

Hi My Friend,

Great timing asking this — teams that I see start Now Assist with input from others usually have a much smoother rollout.

A few things we’ve consistently seen from early adopters:

  • Start small. Don’t try to enable it everywhere at once. Pick one use case incident summaries, knowledge drafting, agent assist and prove value first.

  • Data quality shows up fast. If incident notes, KB articles, or categorization are messy, the AI output will reflect that. Clean inputs = better results.

  • Set expectations with agents early. It helps them work faster, but it still needs human review. Treat it like a copilot, not automation.

  • Knowledge maturity makes a huge difference. Teams with strong, current KBs saw the biggest gains.

  • Governance matters. Decide upfront where it’s allowed, who can use it, and how outputs should be reviewed.

  • Adoption is more about people than tech. Training and real examples of time saved drive usage more than just turning it on.

I would say the biggest win was starting with one focused area, learning from it, then expanding — instead of trying to launch Now Assist across the board on day one.
