Hey, what is best practice and I cant get this to work.

Task Result: Partial

REQUIREMENT:

As the Cloud Dimensions CMDB administrator, create a CMDB Health Group named 'Unix and Windows Servers' to combine the following types of server classes:

-Unix

-Windows Server

-AIX

-HP-UX

-Solaris

NOTE: Linux servers should not be included as these servers are managed by a different group.

Hint: Create 2 seperate encoded queries

I was having the same issue. My end result was the same as shown on the task but the validation didn't like my encoded queries.

I tried every iteration of classes I could think of and this is what finally worked for me:

IMHO, this was super nit-picky since I was getting the exact same results with my other encoded query.

Please try that in this way.

  1. Enter individual encoded query for each class.
  2. No need to set any encoded query for Linux server.

It worked for me.

This is the one that worked, I have spent 5 days on this, and this was so helpful. Thankyou so much
