Hello everyone,
I'm planning to pursue certifications for both the CSA (Certified System Administrator) and CIS-HR (Certified Implementation Specialist - Human Resources) exams. I'm wondering if it's necessary to complete all the mandatory prerequisites and items listed in the official career path for these certifications, or if I can instead focus on learning materials available on platforms like Udemy to solidify my concepts and directly apply for the certifications.
ServiceNow is new to me, but I believe obtaining these certifications will help me secure new projects at work. Could someone please guide me on how to proceed? Additionally, could you also provide information on the costs associated with both exams?
Thank you for your support.

Thank you for the quick response , The blog is really helpful. however i need clarity on going for CIS- HR certification. Do i need to complete both HR fundamentals & HR implementer to go for the exam because to unlock the CIS- HR voucher , only HR implementer is enough. so if you could guide me all the courses i have go to get this certification, that would be really helpful.

No you don't need both. Ofcourse both are mentioned with a reason, if you don't know anything of the subject at all than do consider following all. If you are already more experienced etc, than implementation/advanced is enough (and saves time/money).
For almost all certifications I did, I skipped the fundamentals. Ofcourse my background is a little bit different.
Kind regards,

Hi @kaushikabhi ,
You do not need to follow the career path to complete CSA or/and CIS-HR. For CSA, this is the path that you need to complete: https://nowlearning.servicenow.com/lxp/en/pages/now-learning-get-certified?id=amap_detail&summary_id...
For CIS-HR, this is the path that you need to complete: https://nowlearning.servicenow.com/lxp/en/pages/now-learning-get-certified?id=amap_detail&summary_id...
