CIS – Data Foundations (CMDB/CSDM) Preparation??

Hello everyone,

The CIS – Data Foundations (CMDB/CSDM) certification has been a big topic in the community lately.

From the blueprint, I noticed:

• The exam is 90 minutes instead of the usual 60

• The sample questions are largely scenario-based

• There are matching-type questions in the samples

The free attempt is available until June 2026 , which gives around six months to prepare

For those who have taken or attempted this certification:

1) What is the ideal way to prepare for this exam?

2) Are there any Udemy or external practice materials available? as  this is a new certification, I’m unsure any practice tests are available or not

3) What is the difficulty level like in real exam conditions? is it comparable to CSA / CAD or tougher since as it’s foundational for multiple areas

Would be great if you shared your exam experience or point to person/article if already exists
