Clarification on CSA Exam Preparation: SNAF & Welcome Modules vs. Exam Syllabus

Hello Community,

I am currently preparing for the ServiceNow CSA certification exam and have reviewed the official exam syllabus (attached for reference). I’ve also been going through the SNAF and Welcome to ServiceNow modules. However, I noticed that these modules contain a wide range of topics, many of which are not explicitly listed in the CSA exam blueprint.

Could someone please clarify whether it is necessary to study all topics covered in the SNAF and Welcome modules, or should I focus only on the topics outlined in the official exam syllabus?

if you will pass these exams, you should be good to go. Be aware about the exact wording of the question, words like "always" or "never" can entirely change their meaning.

If you have the eBooks, go through them several times, take screenshots or make notes of what you find important and then repeat this over nad over.

There are some quizlets, but these are difficult - they might and they are outdated, sometimes there is a question and directly answer, not giving you the chance to think about the question and select answers on your own, and lastly many of the responses are incorrect. And you can hardly complain that somebody on the internet said that... so always rely on yourself and use the official ServiceNow documents.

What you're referring to is a blueprint, and it's always a good idea to prepare even more. The topics mentioned in the screenshot are basic, but covering them thoroughly will definitely help you in practical scenarios as well. So it's better to spend more time and go through these topics carefully.
