Clarification on Webcam Requirement for CSA Exam

Hello Team,

Greetings!

 

Is it mandatory to have an external webcam for the CSA exam, or is the built-in laptop camera sufficient?

You just need laptop inbuilt camera only. No external web cam needed.

you need an external cam to allow the proctor to see that your surroundings are arranged according to the ServiceNow requirements. Your mobile or laptop camera cannot fulfil this need.

@RouzbehP - your answer is wrong. That used to be the case, but under the new system, in place since late 2025, an external camera is no longer required.
