Hi,
My name is Tom.
I work for Accenture.
I don't have much experience with Cloud Management, other than using AWS as a hobby in my own time.
I have 1 year of experience working with ServiceNow.
With this class I hope to build a solid foundation with how Cloud Management is handled within ServiceNow, and start the path towards getting CIS certified in Cloud Management.

Hope to learn allot more, eventually get certified and maybe get management to actually let me use the cloud for stuff.

Hello, everyone.
My name is Andrew Cadaret. I live and work in Oklahoma, where I am a (relatively new) systems architect for Zurich Insurance. I've worked with ServiceNow in one capacity or another for seven years.
I'm taking this class to bolster our organization's understanding of how this tool works. We're in the middle of trying to deploy some Azure cloud services, and we've had some difficulty getting the actual catalog items made. I'm hoping that, at conclusion of this class, I'll be able to create any catalog item I might need to create using the blueprints and resources, etc.

Hi,
My name is Ramon De Jesus.
I work for NASA Langley Research Center as the Solutions Architect of their ServiceNow platform.
I have 3+ years of experience working with ServiceNow.
I have 5+ years of experience managing Azure and AWS systems manually.
In this class, I want to see how ServiceNow can automize the cloud tasks I had done manually for all these years.
Let's have fun!

I started ServiceNow in 2011 with Berlin. This is my 8th Knowledge conference. I am SN admin and developer/implementation specialist. I have been working on ITSM, ITOM, Portal, REST API integrations, and now cloud management (our own).
Would like to know what is SN cloud mgmt is and how can we take the advantage of it instead of developing on our own.

One small suggestion on the slide showing the 3389 to MID Server and 443 to the LAB instance. You might want to include something saying MID Server uses 443 to communicate to the LAB Instance. Also make it show that it is a one way connection (MID Server queries the SN Instance and the SN Instance never initiates a request to the MID Server). Just my 2 cents.

Don't hate me for jumping ahead... but page 36 in the lab. The screen shot you have for the "Cloud Admin Portal" does not match what one would actually see following the Lab. Attached a screen shot of what I saw for that base.

One suggestion for the labs, please include in the footer of all your slides the URL that students need for lab access. That way the speaker doesn't need to go back in slides to show the links over and over again.

Another suggestion: Muscle memory is a thing, it would be nice to click along with the overview examples and get results. A sample set of items should be pre-built on the lab instances.

Hello,
When impersonating the cadmin.cloudd account, that is the picture on page 36 and it seems to match. Could you clarify what the difference is that you see?

does anybody remembers what to put on the navigation filter to pull List View of a table without records in cases where we just want to use filter before pulling records?
For example:
incident.list will show List View with all records pulled
incident.xxxx should show an empty List View, then I can enter filters and run it...
Thanks,
Oscar

I didn't even know that was an option. the only tricks I know related to that are that if you use all-caps it will pop up in a new window/tab.
[edit]
It must be an undocumented feature, here's the docs page on the subject:
Table Navigation via Navigation menu
[edit2]
apparently I should refresh the feed more often...
