CSA exam taken 01/2025, expiring 04/2025?

Not understanding why the test I just took/passed 01/04/2025 would have my certification expire in 04/2025. Can someone walk me through what needs to be done to rectify this?

Yep, everyone has to pass a delta exam once a year to extend the validity of their certifications. In your case the timing is unfortunate - i.e. if you had passed your exam next month, you would have had an 11-month wait before this came up.

The exam is very easy: 10 multi choice questions, open book, study guide provided, multiple chances to re-sit if you fail.

Also be aware, after holding a cert for 12 months, the delta comes with a $200 annual maintenance fee. So from 2026, you'll need to pay that annually as well as sit the delta.

Hi @Denise G 

The reason is that you took the CSA exam during the DC release, and now, after January 15th, the Xanadu delta has come into effect. Therefore, you need to take the delta exam before April 2025, or your CSA certification will expire. The delta exam is open book, consists of 10 questions, and you have 5 attempts to pass it.
