Tips for the CSA Exam (Certified System Administrator)

CSA is the first and foundational exam in your ServiceNow journey. Here are some tips to help you prepare effectively:

  • Study the training material thoroughly ā€“ Go through it line by line, word by word, at least 2–3 times.

  • Practice the labs multiple times ā€“ Do each lab 3–4 times. Don’t just complete them; carefully read and understand the instructions as well.

  • Follow the official eBook ā€“ Review it thoroughly at least 2–3 times to reinforce your understanding.

  •

  • Watch my experience video ā€“ I’ve shared my own preparation journey and tips here:

Good luck on your CSA journey!

Hi @reza3,

the eBook and video tutorials might be the good way, what videos do you mean with "some"? Be careful to always use the official materials only.

There is official study preparation (CSA included), read more about it in my post:

[GF#9] ServiceNow exams preparations with MeasureUp (CSA, CAD, CIS DF, ITSM, CSM, RC, SPM)

There's something called assessment, which will help you to understand whether you are ready to pass and shows you spaces for improvements, or the full exam preparation. All described in that article in details.
