Errors Connecting to Debug for Extend Windows OS - Servers Pattern / Discovery Lab

On my Discovery learning instance . Cannot get debug to connect  task#3 without errors. I create an extension on the Windows OS Servers pattern. When I open the extension and click Debug, I correctly enter my MID server and Connect. The connection fails. On previous tasks 1 &2 I was able to connect to Debug and complete tasks. I wait 5 minutes to make sure the Debug has had time and the conclusion are errors. I also tried to connect without Run all previous extensions checked, but still no luck.

I spent hours trying to figure out why I could not connect to the Mid Server from the Windows OS Servers pattern - Extension for task #3. I restarted my Mid Server, etc. but I simply could not connect. The only thing I can think of that could have caused an issue is that in the course, there is a slide on servicenow store Discovery and Service Mapping Patterns; as per the lesson, I checked that it was indeed installed and on my instance there was an update available. I installed the updated but the result was error 500 from the update. I am wondering if this could have cause issue to the base Windows OS Servers. When I added the extension the order was #5 but there were errors that existing orders 1 to 4 could not be updated. I had 98% of the course done pending task #3, I ended up copying pasting the processor value in the Description field and the task #3 validated to true.

Hey @Johanne Robitai ,
Same here! I also struggled for hours with Module 9, Task #3 and the Mid Server debug connection.

Ended up doing the exact same workaround: copied "Intel(R) Xeon(R) Platinum 8370C CPU @ 2.80GHz" to the Description field, and it validated.
