Exam Blackout Period

Hi  - I'm currently studying for an exam and my exam voucher doesn't expired until the end of the month. I planned on taking the last week in September. However, ServiceNow has a Exam Blackout Period 9/16/2021-9/30/2021. How will/can exam purchasers be accommodated to complete exams?

Please advise.

unfortunately, you cannot book an exam appointment during the blackout period. You just can try to book an appointment for October and hope that the voucher will be accepted.

If not, you could raise a support ticket at the NowLearning Portal.

Hi there,

ServiceNow has twice a year a blackout period. Starting on the day of the general availability of the new release + 2 weeks. It also has been announced a few weeks ago, I've also written a blog on this 2 months ago:
2021-07-22 Quebec > Rome Webassessor blackout period

During the blackout period you can't take any mainline exams. Also booking any exams won't be possible: your Webassessor account will appear to be (almost) empty.

If your voucher is expiring during the blackout period: Reach out to ServiceNow. Log a personal case on NowLearning. Who knows, maybe they are willing to extend your voucher. Though I wouldn't be surprised if they are not, because a voucher is valid for almost a year, so you should have had plenty of time.

Is it common for the blackout period to be extended (or not end when expected?).  As of Oct. 1, 2021 Web assessor is still not showing any available exams.

Exams on webassessor are - as expected - available again on webassessor. You can book your exams again.
