Hi,
I failed today for my CSA exam:
Topic Level Scoring:
Topic 1: User Interface & Navigation: 50%
Topic 2: Collaboration: 80%
Topic 3: Database Administration: 82%
Topic 4: Self-Service & Process Automation: 61%
Topic 5: Intro to Scripting & Application Tools: 62%
I was hoping for some tips here where to put my focus on? and what is the best way to do this ?
Does anyone also knows what the passing percentage is for this exam ?

Hi there,
Where did you get these percentages from? Maybe webassessor got an update, though I don't remember that topics and percentages are provided as feedback. In the past you would only get pass or fail after taking an exam?
Or was this not a webassessor exam?
Passing percentage: unknown. You might get responses like 80%, though that's unconfirmed by ServiceNow and just rumours.
If my answer helped you in any way, please then mark it as helpful.
Kind regards,
Mark

Hi Mark,
Yeah i think they updated it to show you at least something 🙂
If i add all the percentages of all 5 topics together and divide them by 5 i get a percentage of 77%, so what you are saying about 80% makes sense.
But any good tips for studying ? i already found out that practice exams online are not really trust worthy.

Agreed, practice exams... well they could give you some feeling for the type of questions, though the questions themselves: often outdated and contained bad answers.
Best advice: make hours!
I do believe if you indeed get some feedback like you are showing, that would help in what to study better (last time I did an exam - december - no feedback was given yet, only pass or fail). In your case it clearly shows UI & Navigation. Unfortunately though... it could be you only got 2 questions on this, and 1 was wrong so 50%...
It's also a matter of trying to get as much of facts into your brain, although often you could find something with 2 or 3 mouse clicks, for the exams you do need to know a lot from the top of your mind.
Just curious, do you get that feedback in the mail after your exam?

Hello,
Your math is off. You need to consider categories are weighted as follows:
1 User Interface & Navigation • ServiceNow Overview • Lists and Filters • Forms and Templates • Branding 20%
2 Collaboration • Task Management • Notifications • Reporting 20%
3 Database Administration • Data Schema • Application/Access Control • CMDB • Import Sets 30%
4 Self-Service & Process Automation • Knowledge Management • Service Catalog • Flow Designer 20%
5 Introduction to Development • Scripting • Migration and Integration • Development 10%
Your score is around 69% based on your % in each domain x the weight.
Supposedly the score needs to be 72%+, so you were very close.
