Hi Community,
I’m reaching out to seek advice or guidance. I had earned three mainline ServiceNow certifications — CSA, CAD, and CIS-ITSM — which have unfortunately expired.
Due to financial constraints, I’m currently unable to afford the re-entry cost for each exam. I’ve been continuously working with the ServiceNow platform and remain passionate about staying certified and up-to-date with my knowledge.
Are there any known:
- Discounted re-entry programs
- Delta exams or grace periods
- Alternative renewal options
- Community or partner-sponsored vouchers
I’d be grateful for any suggestions, experiences, or official contacts that might help. Thank you for your time and support

- Discounted re-entry programs. -> Sorry to say, but there is no discount program. You can do the training free of cost on Now Learning, but for certification, you need to pay.
- Delta exams or grace periods --> No grace period
- Alternative renewal options. --> Nope, need to give the mainline exam again
- Community or partner-sponsored vouchers -->
If you are employed by a ServiceNow partner company, the training will be provided at no cost (as your company has an existing agreement with ServiceNow). If you are not with a partner company, the training fee is USD 500, plus applicable taxes.
- Voucher: Upon completing the training, you will receive an email to claim a voucher, and the same conditions apply. The voucher is priced at USD 300, plus taxes.
In total, if you're not employed by a partner company, the cost will be USD 800, plus taxes.
TO BE CLEAR:
Currently, irrespective of whether you are working with a partner company or as an individual, all on-demand courses are free. However, if you work for a partner company, you may get the voucher for free. As an individual, you will need to pay for the voucher.
