Help With Template Assign to Field | Assign to "me"

Hey guys,

 

I've been struggling with this very simple question for too long, and I figured it was time to just ask.

 

I am trying to edit templates for my company, to fill in all of the required fields, in order to save us some time. The last field refusing to cooperate is the "Assign to" field. I know it is possible apply a template to a new incident, and the incident is automatically assigned to the current user, or "me".

 

Our Service-Now just received a much needed upgrade. On our older version, if we selected the "Assigned to My Group" or "my department", you could see in the filters/queries at the top, the "assignment group" field was set some code which basically said, "all of the groups that this current person is apart of". I know it's possible to apply the same tactic to a template, and have the "assign to" field auto populate the current, active user, who is applying the template. Google-Fu has yet to be any help (perhaps i just don't know how to appropriately ask this question.)
