Hello Everyone,
I’m currently working on Lab 4.2: Create Access and Controls, specifically Section 4, in the SNAF course. During the step to "Add New Access Controls for Read, Write, and Create,"
- I notice a discrepancy with the steps from the course instruction and output
- I have issues updating the write rule with the 'Asset tag' field
1. Here is a screen shot from of instructions from the SNAF course. Note the 'Name' field
2. Steps I took with elevated role to create 'write' rule
- Navigate to Access control
- New
- Operations: write
- Admin overrides: selected
- Active: selected
- Name: Incident [Incident]
- Description: u_holographic_handheld_hhd_user role required to write HHD incident records
- Role: u_holographic_handheld_hhd_user
- saved the role value
- Added filter condition: Service offering |is | Infinity (HHD) in the Data Condition area.
3. I created the u_hhd_asset_tagger role as instructed.
4. Next instruction: Filter the rules as seen in screen shot below.
5 My filter of the rule (what I did and outcome): No list display
6. Then I realized the 'Name' field value was 'Incident' when i created the rule so I changed the filter, then I got my list.
7. Next step is to update the 'write' rule with asset tag field as instructed in the screen shot
8. My entry. There is no match with asset tag
9. My question: Do I need to change the name filed to get a match for the 'asset tag'? note the instruction is to change the right of the selected table.
Is there something I did wrong?
