Hi,
I will start in a new position in a month. I would like to move all my certificates to my new employer. Is there anything I need to do before I loose access to my mailbox at my current company (linked to my current SN profile)? Thank you.

Hi Andor,
You can request an email change through our self-service process. Please follow the steps below. There are a few extra steps if you are a partner, use MFA, or your email is tied to Now Support. Once you receive an email confirmation from the Partner, MFA, or Now Support teams; you can continue with your email change request.
- Go to www.servicenow.com
- Login with your first/old email <old email>
- Click the person icon on the top right corner --> Click Manage Profile
- Click on Edit Profile
- Click on the Update Email Button in the email field and follow the steps to generate a request for changing your email from <old email> to <new email>
- Please DO NOT select the account linking option
- Once the request is created, the support team will reach out to you and update your email. This process will make sure that all your existing data is transferred to your new email
Is your old email a partner email?
- If you’re an existing partner or your old account was a partner account, then you need to create a request with the Partner team to release/detach your email at partnerops@servicenow.com or Go to Partner Support Page
Is multi-factor authentication tied to your old email?
- If you have the additional email authentication tied to your old email (MFA / two-step verification) please email ssosupport@servicenow.com team to disable/turned off and grant you temporary access to your old account.
- You can also click the link below under (Contact Us) on the MFA challenge page. See the screenshot attached.
- Note: We can assist you in accessing your old account by resetting your password if needed once you received an email confirmation from the Partner and MFA team then you can continue with your email change.
Is your email tied to Now Support?
- If your email is tied to a Now Support account, you won’t be able to use the self-service form to change your email address.
- To get unblocked, please contact the Customer Admin assigned to your company on Now Support.
- Your Customer Admin will need to log in to Now Support and change your email address
- After this is completed, you will be able to use the self-service email change without seeing the error message
If you have any questions, please email web_support@servicenow.com.
Thanks,
Kristi from the Now Creators team

Hi Kristi,
Any idea how many days it takes for updating the things and transferring the certificates to new employer's email id?
I submitted the request on 18th Jan,23 and still can't see the update and also there is no way to track my request's status.
Can you please guide me on how I can track it now.
Regards,
Nisha

Hello there,
Need the same but in my account I can only see "Manage MFA Settings" and changing email address was also disabled. Is there any alternative? To whom I should send the request to change my corporate email to personal email address?
