Hi Manpreet,
This is a common frustration with Now Learning simulators. The validation scripts are automated and extremely strict, so even a minor difference can cause them to fail.
Here are the troubleshooting steps to get your task validated:
1. Check for Exact Case Sensitivity & Spacing The validator looks for exact string matches.
If the task asked you to create a group named "Service Desk", ensure it is not "Service Desk" (two spaces) or "service desk" (lowercase).
Check for any trailing spaces in the names of records you created.
2. Verify the Application Scope Ensure you performed the configuration in the correct Application Scope (usually "Global" unless the task specified otherwise). If you created a record in the wrong scope, the validator script (which usually queries the Global scope) won't find it.
3. The "Repair Instance" Trick (Most Effective) Sometimes the simulator instance itself gets "stuck" or the validation script caches an old result.
Go to your Now Learning simulator page.
Look for the "Instance Help" or "Manage Instance" menu (usually on the sidebar or top header).
Click "Refresh Instance" or "Repair Instance".
Note: Do not click "Terminate" (this deletes data). "Refresh/Repair" just reboots the instance and the validation scripts.
Wait a few minutes, log back in, and try validating again.
4. Check User Impersonation Some tasks require you to be a specific user to test access. Ensure you have ended impersonation and are validating as System Administrator (unless the task specifically asks you to validate while impersonating someone else).
If none of this works, you should use the "Help > Create a Support Case" link directly in the Now Learning portal so the training team can manually verify your instance.
Hope this helps you complete the course!
