TNI Essentials (Washington) course - User not Found in Lab instance

Dear Community,

While attempting Lab 1 in the TNI Essentials (Washington) course, user Sam Sharma is not found for impersonation.

Any advice is appreciated as without impersonation, I am unable to proceed.

I’ve enrolled in the course to reproduce the issue, and you’re right — the Sam Sharma user is not available.

However, I noticed that the lab activity is not user-dependent; it requires impersonation with the “Inventory Administrator” role. There are already two users available with this role, and you can use either one for Lab activities.

Thanks for pointing out the Inventory Admin roles and users.

After impersonating them, in Lab 1, the Out-of-Band Device table (cmdb_ci_outofband_device.list) is to be accessed, during which I encounter a Security Constraint (see attached screen shot).

Do you encounter this too in your Lab instance ?
