The Business Process Consulting (BPC) for ServiceNow path provides the foundational knowledge needed for a Business Process Consultant (BPC) to be effective in their role during customer implementations of the Now Platform. Start with our most popular course, ServiceNow Fundamentals, available as a 3-day instructor-led course or on demand, at your own pace. Next, take Get Started with Now Create to learn how to create exceptional business outcomes, faster and with less risk using ServiceNow's Now Create methodology.
The third course in the series, Business Process Consultant (BPC) Best Practices for Implementation, dives into the role a Business Process Consultant (BPC) plays in a ServiceNow implementation (product-line agnostic) with emphasis on the Process Workshop. Learn about the activities and components of a Process Workshop in a ServiceNow Implementation, be able to describe the purpose and components of the ServiceNow Process Workshop, and identify the meetings and methods involved in preparing for the ServiceNow Process Workshop. Understand the role and responsibilities of a Business Process Consultant compared to other workshop participants and describe ways of encouraging participation in the Process Workshop. Know where to access additional resources and best practices to support successful implementation activities.
Additionally, you will be able to confirm what the customer purchased based on the Statement of Work (SOW) and explain how to prepare the customer for implementation. You will learn how to create functional Agile user stories, determine appropriate acceptance criteria for the user stories, and facilitate an Agile user story workshop. Assessing Data Migration and Configuration Complexity and describing how a data migration project is scoped are also covered. You will learn how to describe how scope affects configuration complexity and how configuration complexity affects implementation estimates
The final section of the BPC course covers the types of testing utilized by ServiceNow and how to describe the differences between them. You will learn how to describe the Test Management process and how testing activities fit into SIM, how to facilitate a Test Management Workshop and define and create a testing strategy with the customer. Additionally, learn how to create and execute the various types of tests used by ServiceNow, determine, prioritize, log, track, fix, and test defects, and facilitate User Acceptance Testing.
The final course in the series is Automated Test Framework (ATF) Fundamentals, a free on demand course where you will learn how to use ATF in providing stronger value, lower costs, and manage the risk of your ServiceNow investment.
