The Certificate Inventory and Management application allows you to discover, take inventory of, and proactively manage all your TLS certificates and is available on the ServiceNow store. The Certificate Inventory and Management application keeps you informed of impending certificate expirations, creates certificate tasks via flows to renew expiring certificates, and creates incidents for already expired certificates. It also prioritizes certificate importance, helps you avoid manually tracking a large volume of certificates, and prevents costly outages due to expired or expiring certificates.
Certificate Inventory and Management Course
The Certificate Inventory and Management Administration course will teach you how to configure and use the Certificate Inventory and Management application. This 6 module, 27-minute course provides all required training and exams covering the most essential elements of managing and maintaining the Certificate Inventory and Management application.
You will get a high-level overview of Certificate Inventory and Management and learn how to configure the overall behavior of the Certificate Inventory and Management application. This course will teach you how to add Ports to the Discovery Probe and configure Discovery Schedules. Additionally, learn how to view the Discovered Certificates, set the priority of the Renewal Task, and view the installed Service Catalog Items and Dashboard.
This course is intended for IT Operations Management Administrators who are responsible for managing TLS Certificates. The following courses are recommended before enrolling in this course: Discovery Fundamentals and ServiceNow Fundamentals.
Special Information: Certificate Inventory and Management uses ServiceNow Discovery. This course does not cover Discovery plugins, configuration of Discovery, or MID Server configuration. It also does not cover the installation Certificate Inventory and Management.
