I’m thrilled to share that I passed the CSA (Certified Systems Administrator) exam last night with flying colors! 🎉
I’ve been silently following this community, gathering all the advice and tips without saying much, but now I feel it’s time to give back. The stories and strategies shared here have been incredibly inspiring and helpful throughout my journey!
Here’s how I did it: I started preparing about a month ago, spending evenings and weekends going over study materials. My main focus was on the official CSA guide and tackling as many practice questions as possible. Yesterday, on a whim, I decided to book the exam just a few hours beforehand—and thankfully, it worked out perfectly!
For anyone gearing up for the CSA, I can’t stress enough the value of practice exams. They were instrumental in helping me understand the exam format, refine my weak areas, and build confidence.
Thank you to everyone who shared their prep tips and experiences! I’m now considering what’s next—maybe another certification to keep the momentum going? Let’s see! 😉
Good luck to everyone still on their CSA journey—you’ve got this! 💪

Congratulations @Richard_Joseph1!
I was interested in your approach of booking the exam at the last minute, once you felt you were ready. That's what I do too, although I'm aware many people prefer to book well in advance so they have a set goal to work to, and that helps with their motivation.
Both are equally good strategies, it just depends on individual preference.
I also like your attitude to practice exams. People shouldn't use exam dumps to memorize answers. For one thing, the dump answers are often wrong.
Instead, practice exams are an opportunity to build confidence by understanding the exam format, and working through practice questions should be a process of learning and understanding, not memorizing.
