The best method appears to be adding directly through the LinkedIn profile. LinkedIn doesn't validate with ServiceNow that the certification exists.

Hi Hozawa,
I thought my question is directly related to the topic and didn't feel creating a new thread. Its about linking or sharing ServiceNow badge to your LinkedIn profile.
To clarify my question, I was unable to link or share my ServiceNow badge to my linkedin profile. As explained in the accepted answer, I was able to get the notification when I first logged into ServiceNow after completing my certification. However, I decided to delay it for later. Now, I can't find a way to share it. Hope it clears any miscommunication.

People usually don't look at threads that already have Accepted Solution.
It seems like many people in the forum are interested in getting points. Answering to a thread that's already Accepted won't get them any new points so they won't look at them.

Hello,
I happened to come across this post and don't necessarily think that's the mindset of the forums. You can still receive points by someone else marking your reply as "Helpful". With that said, if a post already has a Correct answer marked, then that was the solution for them. I believe the correct answer for this thread has changed since you both replied some 10 months ago. The "new" correct answer appears to be more relevant and simply states to create the certification/achievement manually within LinkedIn itself. So hopefully that worked for you. Unfortunately, ServiceNow doesn't have a way to easily post the badge on LinkedIn and that's more of a LinkedIn function than it being ServiceNow's fault.
If you're posting in a thread that already has the Correct answer marked...and you either don't get any response after some time or...you're asked to create your own, it may be because the content differs slightly and in the end...you own your own question posted, you control what is correct to you, etc. So there's major benefits to creating your own question. I can see how you may not want to create one to spam the forums though, so I think it was fair to attempt first and see if you could get assistance here. If not, as I mentioned above, then you could try your own post 🙂
We're all here to help. It's all volunteer work.
Please mark reply as Helpful, if applicable. Thanks!

Add directly through your LinkedIn profile.
