The best method appears to be adding directly through the LinkedIn profile. LinkedIn doesn't validate with ServiceNow that the certification exists.

Hello Community,
This is my second post as non certified Service Now Enthusiast 🙂
I am trying to learn from everyone's collective experiences and also from the free extensive resources available which is quite impressive in this platform.
To partially answer the question of sharing badge, I think I have found a way to do so, by sharing the public visible profile of your Achievements page, so it is visible (not directly on LinkedIn though) but by a click on the public URL shared. from here
