"Validate Task" button is missing from learning course.

Hi all, as the title says the "Validate Task" button is completely absent from my course. I'm currently taking the "Welcome to ServiceNow" training and am unable to complete the first instance. I found a couple other posts and have tried:

  • Logging out
  • Clearing cache and cookies
  • Disabling extensions
  • Using a different browser

but am still unable to proceed.

 

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

If you have already tried Logout/Login / Clearing Cache etc. then the only possible solution can be to Raise a case with ServiceNow. You may also try to check it in incognito mode of Chrome browser.

 @dustinhensley  Please try this steps - 

1.Ensure the simulator instance is RUNNING and that the state displayed is RUNNING (not restarting).
2. Check that the task you are trying to validate has not already been PASSED, as the Validate Task button only appears for PENDING or FAILED tasks.
3. Confirm that you are on a SIMULATOR TASK page and not a lab, as labs do not feature the Validate Task button.
4. Look for the label indicating it is a SIMULATOR TASK below the Task description; if it is not present, you are not in the correct section.
5. If all conditions are met and the button is still missing, try again later or check for any technical issues with the NowLearning platform.
