Hi everyone,
I’m new to the ServiceNow platform and currently trying to understand the platform from a beginner’s perspective. I’m also going through ServiceNow University courses and would like to build a good foundation before moving into more advanced topics.
Could someone please suggest a roadmap for a complete beginner?
Specifically, I’d like to understand:
What should I learn first to understand the ServiceNow platform and its overall architecture?
Which core concepts/applications should I focus on first (for example, tables, forms, lists, users/roles, workflows, Service Catalog, etc.)?
Are there any specific ServiceNow University courses or learning paths you would recommend starting with?
At what point should a beginner start exploring configuration/development?
Are there any recommended hands-on exercises or areas in a Personal Developer Instance/test environment that I should explore alongside the learning material?
My goal is not just to complete the courses/certifications, but to understand how the different components actually work in the platform and get some hands-on experience along the way.
Any guidance on a structured learning path would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
