ServiceNow Certified Application Developer exam

Hi everyone!

Are there anyone, who has completed this exam?

How difficult is the exam? Are there any tricky questions like in the System Administration exam?

Can I learn alone, or is the course (Application Creation in ServiceNow Training) necessary to pass the exam?

Please tell me the experience about this exam.

I've taken and passed the exam and the things that will help you would be:

1. System Administration experience or having gone through the System Admin courses

2. Understanding of creating an app in Service Now

3. Understanding of creating a scoped app in Service Now

4. Understanding of Team Development

5. Understanding of new functionality in the Fuji release

I passed the CAD during Knowledge16 and was told it was based off Geneva. Protip - Make sure you understand scoped applications

I believe all of the topics on the blueprint apply to all versions since Fuji (topics such as scoped applications, REST explorer all came into the product in Fuji). I don't recall anything specific about application studio in Geneva but would not be surprised to see Delegated Development (Helsinki) to become part of the material at some point soon.

With the exception of scoped apps, the core development skills on ServiceNow have remained pretty consistent for a number of years.

The exam during the Knowledge16 included 1-2 questions regarding the application studio so. I also agree, they will ultimately include new questions related to Helsinki.

Hi Everyone,

I've started this discussion more than one year ago, and finally I've taken the exam.

I attended to a course as well, and the participant guide also helped me to prepare the exam.

The exam wasn't so hard, and every questions were from the guide. There was perhaps one or two tricky questions.
