I have taken the ServiceNow Admin Cert twice and have failed both times. I'm getting frustrated with failing the cert test. Not sure if I should just quit. Study the online course (twice), watch YouTube videos, flash cards and bought some practice test. Study up on all the areas that I got low % on the first test. I was getting 80-90% on all my practice test. Did about 20 different practice test. So I felt very prepared. But how wrong I was. The questions were way harder than they should be. Some of the question where not covered in the online course or on the practice test. Also I really hate the multiple choice answer questions. Some of them you have to pick 3-5 correct answers in a giant list. Which if you miss one answers you don't get the point. Which 10 of the 60 are multiple choice answer questions. I'm not sure what to study. There isn't much online other from the online course. If there is something online to study, it's really old. Can't get a Job in ServiceNow with out the cert. I'm not sure what to do.

The test I was presented with did not cover content mentioned above. But ServiceNow says they have no responsibility in matter.

I have several years experience with platform, completed online fundamentals training and failed online proctored exam. Having felt comfortable with the content and failing the exam I find the overall training, testing and support process frustrating.
Course work from fundamentals training is no longer available to review or work through on a personal developer instance. Regardless, most of the exam questions didn't relate to the online course work anyway. Topics provided in exam result email do not map back to fundamentals on-demand content outline. Perhaps they map back to in-person training outline or the elusive course "e-book."
The Kryterion sentinel app failed at start of my test time. Knowing what I know now I should have demanded a test reschedule and should not have pressed through troubleshooting and start the exam under stress.
I will schedule a re-take, but I know I can't rely upon limited knowledge gained from the on-demand training. This feels like a bait and switch to me. A number of sections therein list "This course is a key component when preparing for the Certified System Administrator (CSA) exam." I'll need to find a way to work through full course work, hopefully not pay again to re-take course via instructor lead training before re-taking exam. The clock is ticking with Rome around the corner.

Do not get discouraged at all. CSA certification is the primary step to achieve. The journey begins there in. ServiceNow is easy to learn, hard to master.

It does sound like there is something missing between On Demand courses and the Exams: the e-Book. You do get this with the Intructor led course. From experience I can mention that the e-Book contains almost all questions/answers, sometimes literally. Though if that's not covered with the On Demand courses...
Sounds like there's a gap with the On Demand courses.

Hi, how do we get hold of this e-Book? Thanks in advance. I have retaken the exam for the 3rd time this morning, and failed again. Using 300 credits for the first take of the exam and $100 plus tax for each of the 3x retakes (out of my own pocket). The actual exam is a joke compared to the content that is on Udemy. I have been getting 96-100% on all of the exams from Udemy, I did 6 of them yesterday. But when comes to the exam itself, from ServiceNow... it is more like this...
Topic Level Scoring:
1 - Platform Overview and Navigation: 75%
2 - Instance Configuration: 85%
3 - Configuring Applications for Collaboration: 75%
4 - Self Service & Automation: 33%
5 - Database Management: 50%
6 - Data Migration and Integration: 44%
ServiceNow state just to use the content they provide, but the content is far from sufficient to pass the exam. Now it seems they want to charge me $300 or credits to take the exam for the 5th time. Each time I have taken the Online Proctored exam there has always been some issue. Can't read passport, can't read driving licence, camera not working etc. Had to reboot my computer this morning and rescheduled even tough external web camera was showing up fine and had been used for each of the previous 3 exam tries.
I have not failed an exam twice in my life, let along 4 times. The last time I had to do a retake was at 23, I am 42 now. Btw I passed the retake at 23 and have passed many exams since then first time, including the tops marks on my University Degree. I passed AWS Practitioner 1st time, with no issues whatsoever. Content matched the questions in the exam.
