Hi,

I have passed CSA on Dec 24th, 2023. What can I target after doing CSA?

Hi there.

"What can I target after CSA?"

That's really up to you. Which areas do you want to focus on, or what is important for your company? And is it about the training or the certs? For a lot of customers certs are totally useless (the trainings themselves might be useful!), while for consultancy companies for example its a must. Etcetera.

There are also (paid) courses without certificate which might be very useful. For example, I'm more on the technical side, and I liked the Scripting Fundamentals course a lot, though it does not come with a certificate.

Kind regards,

After completing the Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification in ServiceNow, you can target the following certifications and areas: 1. Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS): This certification is for those who want to specialize in the implementation of specific ServiceNow products. There are several paths you can choose, such as IT Service Management, Security Operations, Customer Service Management, HR, and more. 2. Certified Application Developer (CAD): This certification is for those who want to focus on the development side of ServiceNow. It covers areas like scripting, application development, application security, and more. 3. Certified Master Architect (CMA): This is the highest level of certification in ServiceNow. It's for those who want to demonstrate their ability to design and architect a comprehensive ServiceNow solution. 4. Specialize in a specific area: Depending on your interest, you can specialize in areas like IT Operations Management (ITOM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Configuration Management Database (CMDB), or Customer Service Management (CSM). 5. Learn advanced scripting: If you're interested in coding, you can learn more about ServiceNow scripting languages like JavaScript, AngularJS, and more. 6. Gain experience: Practical experience is invaluable. Try to get hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, and customizing ServiceNow in a real-world environment. Remember, the path you choose depends on your career goals and interests.

Hi @devendrakumar3,

There a lot of options to go for after CSA. You can target CAD and complete micro-certifications which increases your knowledge in particular areas. After CAD, I suggest you go for CIS - ITSM. Then you can work on other modules like HRSD, CSM, VR, HAM, SAM, PPM, SPM etc.

If you found this reply helpful, please mark it as solution/helpful.

Thanks and Regards,
