Dear Snug
We have a lot of cases that need to be moved to a particular user, is there a way to select them all and move rather than doing this individually? example letters being returned, we would like to move them out of the main inbox so we can focus on the SNOW tickets... help!!! thank you Ang

Hi @benson-ange ,
Please follow these steps for better approach if you have more than 50 records:
1 - Use Data management module to update the records.
2 - It will help to keep your session running while updating the records.
3 - You can either Schedule it or run it "on demand".
Please let me know if you need any help, try above steps to complete your requirement.

Hi @benson-ange
Yes, it is possible — but the condition is that all cases must have a same group assigned, and the user must be a member of that group. If the user is not a member, the cases will not be updated via the list view, as mentioned below.

@benson-ange - As the community is giving you the different ways to update the assigned to field. Please keep in mind that
- It can trigger notification for the count of cases that you planned to reassign
- Consider any integration that may have impact on this update.
If it's just a reassign without any notification or integration, then request your ServiceNow admin to use "Data Management" > Update Job - to update the related records.
Thanks & Regards,
Vasanth

@benson-ange - One option is that you can try using List view if you have supported control.
Another one is - You can use the Script to update as one time activity. Or you can schedule the script if you want on some frequency that ticket should get updated with required condition in place.
If it is very frequently - You can create the UI Action button on form and clicking on that button would help you to update the action.
