I need steps to complete this assignment:

The Sprints for your organization run for 21 days but the default Sprint duration in the system is 14. Update the default Sprint duration in the system to reflect your company's standards.

Once you have updated the duration create a new Agile group named HRBP with a capacity of 45. Create a new sprint with this group and confirm the updated default sprint duration is 21.

Step 1: Update Default Sprint Duration

  1. Navigate to the System Properties in your Agile tool (e.g., ServiceNow or Jira).

  2. Search for the property controlling sprint duration. For ServiceNow, locate: com.snc.sdlc.scrum.pp.default_sprint_length.

  3. Change its value from 14 to 21 to reflect the new default sprint duration.

  4. Save the changes and ensure they are applied across all relevant boards or plans.

Step 2: Create a New Agile Group

  1. Go to the Agile Groups or Teams section in your tool.

  2. Click on Create New Group/Team.

  3. Name the group as HRBP.

  4. Set the Capacity of the group to 45.

  5. Save the group configuration.

Step 3: Create a New Sprint ( Add the user to the agile group)

  1. Navigate to the Sprints or Iterations section.

  2. Select the newly created group (HRBP) as the associated team.

  3. Create a new sprint and ensure its duration is set to 21 days. The system should automatically apply this based on the updated default duration.

  4. Save and confirm that the sprint reflects the correct duration.
