CSP caller activity log error (Xanadu)

We're currently regression testing in our DEV instance and I've come across a peculiar issue. When I raise a ticket as a caller, and I try to view the activity log of the ticket on creation I only see an eternally loading activity log. I am unable to view or post comments as a caller in the CSP.
The only way I've been able to get the display to load is by closing the ticket as the caller, when doing this the activity log loads as normal.
Is there a reason this portal would do this? I can't even begin to think where a fix could be made. Any help would be much appreciated.
