Since you are saying that you followed the instructions properly, but task is not validated in that case you can raise a case for issue you facing so engineer from backend can get it validated, and you can proceed with your task.
Else, have a look on instructions very specifically as sometimes a small silly error can just block our simulator task validation for example, I had faced a spelling mistake or sometimes missing an underscore in naming convention.
