Can anyone please help me to know what should be the standard response time for existing incident form while loading/new incident form during form load.

I think it should be 6 seconds,

it's hard to say what should be the standard response time.

It depends on the fields on your form,   what instance you're running, if on Geneva or later, are you using the live forms?

How many reference fields are you loading, how many related lists, how many total fields, UI actions, ui policiies, business rules, client scripts.

Obviously the less the form has to load the faster.   I think we are loading about 65 fields about 90 total scripts and about 45 ui policies and it takes about 4-5 seconds.

our organization has 500mb internet connection.

though i cant give you an answer, i hope this gives you an idea of your loading time.

Hi Ankita,

Anything over 3-4 seconds might considered slow by most users.

Hi Ankita,

There is no any standard response time. But it all depends on Network response time, Server response time and browser response time.

Response time for the OOTB Incident form is about 2 seconds which is good. The more you add to it the slower it will be, which browser you use will also affect the load time.

This is the time I get in my developer instance for incident which is more or less OOTB (chrome as browser).

Anything over 3 seconds and I would consider it to start to be slow. Load times are very annoying for end users and should be kept at a minimum.

I checked the change form for a production instance where the form has got quite a lot of modification and related lists, we are still under 3 seconds load time (with chrome as browser)

When using Internet Explorer as browser you can expect up to 3 times longer browser load times.
