When I set up cloning in a production environment, how many days in advance do I need to submit it?

@ayano In ServiceNow, the ability to set a clone schedule depends on the lead time required by the system. Typically, you cannot schedule a clone less than 24 hours in advance due to the time needed for planning and resource allocation. However, this timeframe might vary depending on instance size, ServiceNow version etc.

When scheduling a cloning operation in ServiceNow for a production environment, it is generally recommended to submit the request at least 7 to 14 days in advance. The exact timeframe can vary depending on the specific policies and processes of your organization, as well as the complexity of the clone.

Hi @Sandeep Rajput ,
Thank you for your comment.
In my experience, I have been unable to set a schedule for cloning if it is too close to the schedule.
Do you know how many days in advance you can't set a schedule?

Hi @ayano
As suggested by @Sandeep Rajput 7- 14 days in advance is good period , also you need time to inform your dev team to take back up of update set as well.
If my response proves useful, please indicate its helpfulness by selecting " Accept as Solution" and " Helpful." This action benefits both the community and me.
