Hello ....
1. Is anyone really using 'Upgrade plan' for your upgrades? What advantages do I get if I use it compared to Update sets?
2. I heard that are some bugs/limitations even today and not many are using 'Upgrade plan'. is it true?
3. If you are using 'Upgrade plan', do you have the list of issues/limitations it has? Ex - I believe for capturing issues with defects on an existing functionality, still needs an update set to capture it.
4. Also ServiceNow one of their example says, by using upgrade plan, the can reduce the upgrade timeline by several weeks 😮
Is that true?

For your 4th question: highly unlikely, since an upgrade can be done in less than a week if you plan accordingly (without using upgrade plan). If you are on an instance that takes months to upgrade because no-one is taking responsibility, the upgrade plan isn't going to change that.
And to your 1st question: I have never seen it being used. It's a lot of extra work on something that is only done once a year.
Please mark any helpful or correct solutions as such. That helps others find their solutions.

Thanks for your inputs @Mark Manders
Though it was released long back (Tokyo I believe), I have not seen many people using it, talking about it, no questions about it in community.
So was curious if anyone is really using it and seeing any benefits.
