Hi.
I plan to clone the production instance to the development instance.
At that time, I don't want to stop the production environment.
I don't think there will be any impact on the production instance when cloning, so I don't think there is a problem, but how about it?
Please tell me.

Hi,
Just make sure you have no In progress update sets on your Dev instance, and all update sets are committed to your Test instance.
As mentioned earlier in the thread, the clone will only use a backup of your production instance, on a daily basis ServiceNow makes 2 backups and 1 full backup every weekend.
The backup to be used depends on when you schedule your clone.
In other words, no direct impact on the performance or the availability of your Prod instance.
Hope this helps

Hi
yes, you are right. Your PROD can run without functional impacts, but maybe the performance is decreased during the cloning time.
Kind regards
Maik

Hi, Clone will be running from the last backup copy of the production instance so you will not see any issues in production instance during the clone.

Hi, The backup runs from (typically) the most recent backup. This will usually be from the previous day. When you schedule the clone you'll get a message telling you which backup it will use so you can check that it will have picked up anything that you have changed recently.
