Kb article opening Form view in esc portal

Hi All,

When searchng Kb article in ESC page it is opening with bewlow Form view

How to fix this issue , it should open kb aticle search page

Hi @sukanta_123 when you use a route map, the URL will not change, but the article page will be displayed. Does the article display even though page url is form? your route map should look like this

if you want to change URL, then provide me the search source added under Portal

This fixes the problem of showing the articles in form view, but this is getting applied to everything.

It also applies to approval request, change requests, etc.

Is there a way to apply this only to kb articles and not with other type of records?

Just wanted to add here an additional resolution for our similar situation: We were also getting in the Service Portal the "form" id instead of the kb_article. Turns out our typeahead search was actually customized in 2021 and no longer received the OOB updates. We were able to solve it by importing the OOB typeahead search xml. So double check your typeahead search is the OOB.
