My PDI https://dev219191.service-now.com is not letting me install any plugin fro developer website directly. Also, today I got an email stating i need to save my work and release by tomorrow otherwise it will be retired due to techncial issues.  Is anyone also got this mail and is it legit ?

Ahoy @arnabbhaumik,

If you navigate to this site:

https://developer.servicenow.com/dev.do#!/manage-instance

What status do you see in your instance?

Also, under the link above, you can go through FAQs and guide to see if there is any answer to your issue:

More about the instance states in general here: [GF#5] PDI in Offline state: Resolving Error 502 Bad Gateway

One last thing you can try is to navigate to the login page: https://dev219191.service-now.com/login.do but it requires knowing your password (it might have been sent to your mailbox earlier), i was able to log in even during unscheduled maintenance which gave my chance to backup everything i needed before I released and requested a new instance..

Hi @arnabbhaumik

I haven't received that email but, in your case, it seems legit given that you do appear to have technical issues with your PDI.

Hi @arnabbhaumik

There could be a technical glitch in your PDI instance.

It’s good that you have taken the time to back up your data. Please proceed with taking a full backup and raise a request for a new instance.

For reference, you can follow this guide:

HI @arnabbhaumik

I also received this email two days ago, and I’m still able to use my PDI. It’s best to take a backup of your PDI work in advance in case you lose access.

Secondly, installing plugins on a PDI is a separate issue. It could be that the application you’re trying to install isn’t available on your instance. If you’re seeing any errors, please share a screenshot and I can help you troubleshoot.
